Elite Tennis in Vancouver is staffed by world class instructors who provide coaching that goes beyond technical and tactical training. By providing instruction based on the aptitide of individual students, we help players uncover their unique style and drive.
Dal Gill, Director of Tennis
Dal has been involved in tennis for over 25 years and has had the privilege of coaching many national champions. As the Founder of Elite Tennis in Vancouver, he’s created a successful system of coaching that helps students evolve into world-class players.
Dal has visited tennis academies around world. His experiences have allowed him to learn internationally renowned techniques and strategies, which he brings to the students of Elite Tennis in a progressive and caring environment.
Dynamic and focused, Dal works with students of all ages. He is skilled at helping players discover their own unique strenghts and playing style.
Julien Heine, Director of High Performance
A PTR Certified Professional since 1991 and National Tester and Clinician since 2000, Julien has coached tennis students for more than 20 years. He was an All American champion twice, ranking first in the US Men’s 30s and 35s and Top 15 in the world by the ITF.
Julien speaks regularly at the PTR International Symposium and has published numerous articles in Tennis Pro Magazine. Today, as a Vancouver tennis coach, he leverages his considerable expertise to coach students at Elite Tennis in Vancouver.
Helen Kelesi, Academy Coach
Helen holds a Level Three Coaching Certificate. A former tour professional, Helen was dubbed “Hurricane Helen” by the Canadian Press for her fiery demeanor and aggressive game style.
She achieved a career high with a WTA ranking of World No. 13 and was a regular fixture in the top-25.
As a former champ, Helen is keen to get more youngsters involved in the game. She loves teaching and brings a wealth of experience to Elite Tennis in Vancouver.
Tyler Begg, Academy Coach
Currently ranked in the top 70 of the Men’s Open in Canada, Tyler played Division 1 College tennis, holds an instructor’s certificate and has worked as a tennis instructor since 2002. He is a caring individual and uses his abilities to help students of all ages uncover a lasting love of the game.
Anmol Ladhar, Academy Coach
Anmol is a former junior tennis player who ranked in the top 8 nationally. He was also an under 18 provincial champion. Anmol is passionate about coaching tennis and enjoys working with young players to enhance their game and confidence.

Scott Hebert, Off court Fitness
Scott has been a Strength and Conditioning Coach for 15 years. Formerly the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Vancouver Canucks from 1999-2001, Scott has proven success working with hockey players from the NHL, AHL, and WHL. Scott brings out the best in athlethes by combining hard work with science in a fun and competitive environment. Scott is a Reebok Master Trainer for BC, certifying fitness professionals in a variety of courses through Reebok University.
Satnam Gill, Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Satnam applies the skills learned while completing a Bachelor of Business Administration to run Elite Tennis in Vancouver.
She is also a Certified General Accountant (CGA) and works with coaches, players, and parents to create innovative programs that fulfill the company’s mandate of enabling all students and players to fulfill their potential.
Wendy Strelitz, Office Manager
Wendy plans and manages the day-to-day activities of Elite Tennis in Vancouver.
